In this setting when designing with water in the garden, we mimic nature. The shape of a Natural Swimming Pond organic and irregular, moss and lichen covered rocks and boulders used to surround the water, and aquatic plants grown in abundance. When designing a Natural Swimming Pond, we receive our inspiration directly from nature, the choice of planting and materials unite the composition together to nestle into the wider setting, simply and beautifully. The enchantment of water in landscapes, the refraction of light and shadow, the reflection of clouds moving in the sky, appearing on the surface. The way water, weather and sound interact produce an overwhelming sense of mental tranquillity, the sound of water evokes emotion, moving, transforming, cleansing, supporting.
